It should be no surprise that 2001's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider is based of the original Tomb Raider game trilogy and has been called one of the few good video game adaptations prior to both Sonic the Hedgehog and The Super Mario Bros animated movie, and some people thought that the only thing that was good in it was Angelina Jolie as the titular Tomb Raider. But with Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft, it makes it worthwhile.
